MENLO PARK, CA – May 22, 2017 – Shelley Metz-Galloway has joined global consulting firm Protiviti as a managing director in its Risk and Compliance practise. Based in the Washington D.C. area, she serves clients within the financial services industry focused primarily on matters concerning regulatory compliance and risk management.

Metz-Galloway brings more than 25 years of experience to the firm, offering expertise and knowledge of consumer regulatory compliance and the mortgage business. She also has experience in business and regulatory performance and risk analytics, strategic planning, project management, process reengineering, and the development and execution of strategies to address critical business needs.

Metz-Galloway recently served as a managing director and leader of the Regulatory Compliance, Fair Lending and Technology practise at Treliant Risk Advisors, with a focus on clients in the banking and insurance industries and the mortgage market. Prior to this, she gained extensive knowledge of the consumer banking industry through her role as a vice president at Wells Fargo & Company. Earlier in her career, Metz-Galloway also held leadership positions at Fannie Mae and Aetna Life & Casualty.

She is also a member of Women in Housing and Finance, an organisation of professionals in the fields of housing and finance who dedicate their resources and knowledge to help women and their families in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
