Terry Jost Joins Protiviti as Managing Director, Global Managed Security Services
Terry Jost joins Protiviti as Managing Director, Global Managed Security Services in the Security and Privacy practice within the Technology division, enhancing the firm’s cybersecurity, information & risk technology, managed services and business advisory strategy expertise.
Mr Jost, who is based in Dallas, Texas, advises and consults with senior business leaders and board members, providing guidance for transforming their cybersecurity governance and operations to effectively manage persistent & sophisticated cyber threats and provide cyber resiliency strategies to protect critical business functions and data. Notably, he is operating as an MD and is responsible for Protivi’s launch of a full site of managed security services into the market from design to development and execution. Providing consultation with senior business leaders and board members of leading Energy companies to enable the adoption of cybersecurity solutions. And, generating new opportunities from leading expanded alliance partnerships with technology companies: Microsoft, Netskope and ReliaQuest.
Mr Jost joins Protiviti from EY, where he was a Demand Leader for EY’s Americas Cybersecurity Practice. He was previously Chairman and CEO at the Mycroft, a mid-size, Global IT (Cyber) Security Services and Consulting Business, where he led the business to substantial and rapid growth, expanding to 6 delivery centers on 3 continents providing services to Fortune 200 organizations.
Mr Jost holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Missouri State University and has undertaken selected Graduate Programs in Finance, Manufacturing and Business Strategy from Harvard Business School and Brand Marketing from Fuqua School of Business. Mr Jost routinely presents and discusses cybersecurity at major corporate board meetings and has recently lectured at the University of Texas at Austin, Georgetown University MBA Programs and many other venues interested in cyber protection and private equity investments including Wells Fargo Client Round Tables, Bloomberg Business Week, CNBC, The New York Times, Forbes, Reuters and LinkedIn Blogs
