Martin Warner, Director of Talent / People, Smart Pension


Martin is Director of Talent at Smart. Having already helped Smart scale from 80 people to just over 400 people in the past 2 years, he is now responsible for Smart's next growth phase whilst ensuring that Smart retains its key principles and culture. Martin helped Smart get on to the Great Places to Work list for 2020 as well as being part of the team that set up their nearshoe Engineering hubs in Poland, Belarus and Croatia. Prior to joining Smart, he was a consultant for 3 years, helping to scale companies such as Market Finance and TransferWise.

Jason Waterman, Director of Talent, 11:FS


Jason has over 12 years of Recruitment, Talent Acquisition and People experience specializing in Team Builds and Workplace Culture Development, primarily with start/scale-ups and hyper-growth businesses. Currently the Director of Talent at 11:FS overseeing all Talent Acquisition and Development, Jason led the growth of 11:FS to 200 and is currently implementing a career progression framework.

Jason previously headed up the Venture Talent Team at BCG Digital Ventures (part of Boston Consulting Group), building the founding teams for 19 startups, including VC-backed businesses like MachineMax, heycar and WonderBill.
